What we collect

When you activate a tag we store your email address, the name you give your bag, and, if you choose, your name and phone number. When someone scans a tag we record the time, an anonymized network identifier used only to prevent abuse, and anything the finder chooses to send, such as a message, contact details, or location.

How we use it

We use your details only to connect you with someone who has found your bag. Finders never see your email address or phone number. If your tag was given to you by a company and you chose to receive its offers, we share your name and email with that company. If you did not opt in, we do not share your details with them.

Companies that give out tags

Companies that provide tags see totals, such as how many tags were activated or scanned. They do not see finder messages or the location of your bag.

Your choices
